Chickpea Salad

Hello friends,
Today I am sharing a very healthy, filling, colorful and delicious chickpea salad. Check out oher interesting Salad varieties I have posted earlier in the links.




Here's how to make Chickpea Salad with step by step photos....


Ingredients

Boiled chickpeas
400 gms
Onion
1 finely chopped
Tomato
2 finely chopped
Cucumber
½ chopped
Green chillies
2 finely chopped
Black pepper powder
As needed
Cumin powder
½ tsp
Garam masala powder
¼ tsp
Lemon Juice
1 tbsp
Olive oil
1 tbsp
Cilantro
2 tbsp finely chopped
Mint leaves
7 to 8
Salt & Pepper
A dash
 Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4

Method

Mix the oil and lemon juice together in a bowl and keep it aside.

Boil the chickpeas with salt, drain the water and keep it aside.


In a wide bowl add the onions, tomatoes, cucumber, green chillies, black pepper powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, cilantro, pepper powder, salt and mix really well.


Add the boiled chickpeas, oil mixture, cilantro and mix well. Let it sit for another 10 minutes.


Enjoy this healthy and wonderful salad.
