American Pancakes/Pancake Recipe/American Pancake Recipe/Easy Pancake Recipes

American pancakes are really easy to make, you need not always depend on the pancake mix for the same. My kids call them the golden disc, because they are small and gold in color and glitters with honey or maple syrup.

Here’s how to make Pancake from the scratch with step by step photos...

Ingredients

All purpose flour                                          2 cups
Baking Powder                                            2 tsp
Sugar                                                             2 tbsp
Salt                                                                 ¼ tsp
Eggs                                                               2
Milk                                                                2 cups
Butter                                                             2 tbsp

Method

In a deep bowl whisk the eggs well. Now add the milk, sugar, salt and mix it good.

Sift the flour and baking powder together and add it to the egg mixture. Make sure there are no lumps.

Heat the tawa or griddle, pout one big ladle of batter and add butter along the edges.
(or use few drops of oil or non stick spray)

Cook evenly on both sides (light brown). Yummy pancake is ready to be served.

Serve it with maple syrup and butter. You can as well serve it with honey.
