Ingredients
Carrot

250 gms(finely diced)

Red Chillies
|

Mustard Seeds
|
¼ tsp
|
Cumin Seeds
|
¼ tsp
|
Urad dhal
|
¼ tsp
|
Curry leaves
|
4
|
Coconut shredded
|
2 tsp
|
Oil
|
1 tsp
|
Salt
|
as needed
|
Method
In a
kadai heat oil, add mustard seeds let it splutter. Then add cumins, urad dhal,
curry leaves and red chillies. Sauté for a min.
Now add
the carrots, salt and sauté for 3 min. Sprinkle some water, cover and cook for
5 min. Now add the shredded coconut and mix them well and sauté for 2 min.
Carrot
poriyal with coconut is ready to be served.
