Chettinad chicken curry as the name say's its
traditional dish from Karaikudi. My great grandma was born and brought in a
small village called Keerani near Karaikudi. My father used to say, she used to
grind masala everyday for cooking which makes it tastier and delicious. My
grandma(we call her AAtha) she tought this recipe to my mom and now I'am
cooking it. So this recipe has travelled from one small village Keerani
to Macclesfield, UK along with me.... Meanwhile do check out other
interesting and tempting Non Vegetarian Gravies/Biryanis/Fries here.

ReplyDeleteYou are right about the grinding our ancestors used to do those days. I am contented with the food processor because of time factor. This is so inviting and you know how I love spicy flavors. I also support the combo of curry leaves and coriander for the double boom of fragrances.
