Ingredients
Pomfret
Slices (Vavval) 4
Red
Chilli Powder 1
tbsp
Coriander
Powder 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder ½
tsp
Ginger
& Garlic Paste 1
tsp
Lemon
Juice 2
tsp
Pepper
powder ¼ tsp
Salt as
needed
Gingelly
Oil as needed for frying
Method
Clean
and wash the fish real good, finally add ¼ tsp of turmeric powder and wash it once.
[My mom
will wash the fish in chatty with sea salt which will remove the scales, since
I don’t have it here, I just use the regular pan to wash the fish]
Now mix
all the masala except the oil and apply it on the fish, cover it and let it
marinate for 30 min’s.
Heat
the griddle, add 1 tsp of oil and then the fish, cook it on both sides evenly.
Make sure the stove is in medium flame.
I use
gingelly oil for fish fry and gravies which is good for your health and
wonderful taste.
You can
very well use sunflower oil.
Now
yummy fish fry is ready to be served.
