Here's how to make Green Peas Soup with step by step photos....
Green Peas

2 cups
|
Onion
|
1 finely chopped
|
Green chillies
|
4 finely chopped
|
Cumin Seeds
|
½ tsp
|
Ginger & Garlic
paste
|
2 tsp
|
Bay leaves
|
2
|
Salt
|
As needed
|
Black Pepper powder
|
As needed
|
Oil
|
1 tsp
|
Vegetable stock
|
1 cup
|
Mint
|
5 leaves for garnishing
|
Method
In a deep pan heat oil, add bay leaves and cumin seeds and sauté
for 20 sec. Now add the onions, green chillies and sauté until golden brown.
Now add the ginger and garlic paste and saute until raw smell vanishes. Then add green peas,salt and sauté for 5 min’s, then add the vegetable stock cook and cover for 10 -15 min’s.
Now cool the peas and blend it into smooth paste. Sprinkle required amount of black pepper powder according to your taste.
Garnish it with mint leaves and serve it with plain yogurt
and toasted bread.
