Kadaai Chicken Recipe/Kadaai Kozhi Recipe/How to make Kadaai Chicken Recipe with step by step photos

Hi guys, I'am back again with a very popular "kadaai chicken".  My mom usually makes it in a "Irumbu kadaai" . When cooked in it, the dish gets good taste and aroma. When I was a kid, my mom never adds the capsicum. In all the restaurants they do add capsicum, so I thought why not....
Capsicum enhances the taste and gives more flavor. Here's how to make the yummy kadaai chicken. Also check out other interesting and mouthwatering Chicken Varuvals/Fry/Biryanis/Gravies etc hereMutton/goat Meat Recipes,Fish & Egg Recipes

Method
In a pan dry roast the ingredients mentioned for roasting and grind it in to a fine paste.

In a heavy bottom kadai pour oil, then add onions and chillies and saute until light golden brown. Add the tomatoes and saute until real soft. Add ginger & garlic paste.

Next add the chicken and saute until the color changes, then add the ground paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix real good. Pour 1/2 cup water and let the chicken cook well.

When the chicken is cooked add the capsicum and saute for 10 min or until the oil separates.

Now yummy kadai chicken is ready to be served. It can be served with ghee rice or chapati.

I have mentioned gingelly oil because it has lots of medicinal values with excellent aroma and taste. You can very well use sunflower oil instead.

    1. Hi Shruthi,
It is better you grind them for the consistency and the taste, but if you do not have mixer then you can replace it with cumin powder, pepper powder and the whole masalas. But grinding gives it the taste....
