In a pan dry roast the ingredients mentioned for roasting and grind it in to a fine paste.
In a heavy bottom kadai pour oil, then add onions and chillies and saute until light golden brown. Add the tomatoes and saute until real soft. Add ginger & garlic paste.
Next add the chicken and saute until the color changes, then add the ground paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix real good. Pour 1/2 cup water and let the chicken cook well.
I have mentioned gingelly oil because it has lots of medicinal values with excellent aroma and taste. You can very well use sunflower oil instead.

ReplyDeletehi can i add the ingredients without grinding it.
ReplyDeleteHi Shruthi,
DeleteIt is better you grind them for the consistency and the taste, but if you do not have mixer then you can replace it with cumin powder, pepper powder and the whole masalas. But grinding gives it the taste....
