Onion & Green Chilli Uthappam/Onion Uthappam Recipe

Onion Uthappam is my daughter's favourite, I make it very often just for her.

Here's how you make it.

Ingredients

Idli batter                                          2 cups
Onion                                                 1 small chopped finely
Green chillies                                    2 chopped finely

Author: Priya Anandakumar
Method

Heat the dosa tawa in the stove,  pour one big ladle of batter on it. Make sure uthappam is thick and not thin like dosa.

Now sprinkle the onion and green chillies over the batter, and a few drops of oil all over the edges or you can use non-stick spray.

Cook on both sides evenly and yummy Onion & Green chilli uthappam is ready to be served.

It can be served with any chutney or sambar, but can be had without any side dish.
