Cooked Rice

Method
In a
kadai dry roasts the pepper corns and grind it in the mixer. (Not too fine or
coarse)
In the
same kadai heat the oil, add mustard seeds let it splutter. Now add cumin seeds, red chilli, urad dhal,
curry leaves one by one and sauté them. Then add the garlic and fry until
golden brown.
Now add
the cooked rice (rice should not be mushy), switch off the stove and add the
ground pepper and mix them well together.
Serve
it hot with appalam or rice vathal.
Note:
Use only freshly ground peppercorn which enhances the taste of the rice.
