Quick & Easy Tomato Pulav/Easy Tomato Pulav Recipe/Tomato Pulav Recipe/How to make Tomato Pulav with step by step photos.

Ingredients
Basmathi Rice uncooked
2 cups
Onions
2 cut length wise
Tomatoes
3 finely chopped
Green chillies
6 slit length wise
Garlic cloves
10 slit length wise
Mint leaves
One hand full washed
Oil
2 tsp
Ghee
1 tsp
Cinnamon sticks
2
Cloves
2
Bay leaves
2
Fennel seeds
½ tsp
Coconut milk
3 cups
Cilantro
2 tsp finely chopped
Preparation Time: 12-15 minutes                        Recipe Category: Main Course

Method
Wash and soak the basmati rice for about 20-30 minutes.

In a pressure cooker, add oil and ghee. Now add cinnamon sticks, cloves, bay leaves and fennel seeds. Sauté it for a min. [ Wash and soak the basmathi rice for 20 min’s].



Now add onions, green chillies and garlic and sauté until the onion changes to golden brown. Now add the tomatoes and sauté until mushy. Add half of the mint leaves along with it.


Now add the coconut milk, cilantro and salt. Let it boil, when you see the bubbles add the washed basmathi rice. Mix the rice gently, lower the flame to medium, just close the lid and cook for 10 to 12 min’s. [No whistle, just cover and cook]


Finally add the mint leaves and serve it with raitha.

Ta da!!! Delicious and super flavourful Tomato Pulav is ready to be enjoyed.
