Method
Cut,
wash and clean the chicken and keep it aside.
In a
kadai heat the oil, add cinnamon sticks, cloves, fennel seeds and sauté for a min. Then add
onions, chillies and sauté until it turns golden brown. Now add ginger, garlic
and tomatoes. Sauté until the tomatoes are mushy.
Now add
the chicken pieces and sauté until the chicken color changes from pink to
white. Then add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix
really well.
Add ¼
cup of water to it, close it and cook for 15-20 mins.
Finally
garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with either white rice, chapati, idli or dosa.
