Guacamole "Avocado Sauce" /How to make Guacamole with step by step photos

Guacamole literally means “Avocado Sauce” and originated in Mexico. Avocado is a fruit, which matures on the tree and ripens afterwards. It is fleshy and has buttery taste. It can be eaten as such, it is loaded with 20 vitamins and minerals and has lots of health benefits. It is packed with antioxidants and fiber and helps to lower cholesterol.

Now a days we get avocado in India in shops like Nilgiris, do try this fruit you will surely love the taste and enjoy the benefits of it. 

Here’s how to make “Guacamole” with step by step photos…


Ingredients
Avacado
2
Onion
1 big finely chopped
Tomato
1 finely chopped
Serrano Peppers or Green chillies
4 finely chopped
Garlic cloves
4 finely chopped
Lemon or lime
Juice of ½ fruit
Cilantro
2 tbsp finely chopped
Black pepper powder
A dash of it
Salt
As needed

Method


Cut avocados in half, remove the seed. Scoop out the avocado from the peel using a spoon and put it in a mixing bowl.


Mash the avocados with the spoon. Add rest of all the ingredients mentioned above except tomatoes. Mix it really good, adjust the chillies according to your required taste. Cover it and keep it in the refrigerator. Add tomatoes only before serving.


Yummy guacamole is ready to be served.



Guacomole can be served with tortilla chips, can be filled in wraps along with chicken or beans.
