Mangalore Bonda Recipe/How to make Mangalore Bonda Recipe with step by step photos

Mangalore Bonda is very yummy and crispy evening snacks which can be made with in minutes. If you have unexpected guest, this bonda can surely come handy.

Here's how to make it with step by step photo's...



Ingredients

All Purpose Flour(Maida)
1 cup
Rice Flour
¼ cup
Baking soda
½ tsp
Buttermilk
¼ cup to make thick batter
Cumin seeds
¼ tsp
Green chillies
2 finely chopped
Ginger
½ inch finely chopped
Salt
As needed
Oil
For frying

Method
In a bowl mix the maida, rice flour, baking soda and salt.  Add the buttermilk slowly to the flour and mix it. Make sure the batter consistency is like vada consistency and not watery.


Now add the cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger and mix it.

Heat oil in a kadai when the oil is hot enough make small balls of the batter and drop it in the oil. Deep fry them to golden brown.


Yummy Mangalore bonda is ready to be served. It tastes really good by itself but can be served with chutney or ketchup.

Note: Fry them only in medium heat, otherwise the bonda’s color will change brown but inside it might not get cooked
