Here’s

Ingredients
Potatoes

4 boiled and cubed
|
Onion
|
2 medium finely chopped
|
Green chillies
|
2 finely chopped
|
Ginger & Garlic Paste
|
2 tsp
|
Oil
|
1 tbsp
|
Mustard seeds
|
¼ tsp
|
Cumin seeds
|
¼ tsp
|
Channa dhal
|
¼ tsp
|
Urad dhal
|
¼ tsp
|
Curry leaves
|
6
|
Red chilli powder
|
2 tsp
|
Coriander powder
|
1 tsp
|
Turmeric powder
|
¼ tsp
|
Salt
|
As needed
|
Lemon
|
Just for drizzling (optional)
|
Cilantro
|
2 tsp
finely chopped
|
Method
Heat
the kadai add oil followed by mustard seeds after it splutters, add cumin
seeds, channa dhal, urad dhal and curry leaves, sauté for 20 secs. Add onions and green chillies and saute until golden brown. Add the ginger & garlic paste saute for 30 secs.
Now add
the boiled, peeled and cubed potatoes, add the red chilli powder, coriander
powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix all of them really well. Just sprinkle
some water (not a lot) and mix. Don’t break the potatoes.
Fry them
until done, add some oil if needed when frying.
Finally
after switching off the stove garnish with cilantro and some lemon juice.
