Method
Wash
and soak moong dhal and rice for 3 to 4 hours. Then grind moong dhal, rice,
green chillies, ginger and salt together in the mixer or grinder. The
consistency should not be thick nor very thin, it should be like dosa batter.
Now add
the cumin seeds, asafoetida, curryleaves, cilantro, turmeric powder and mix well. You can add 1/2 cup of finely chopped onions to the batter as well.
Heat
tawa, pour one big ladle of batter and make dosa. Add few drops of oil around
the edges or use non stick spray. Cook evenly on both sides to golden brown.
Yummy
moong dhal dosa is ready, can be served with any spicy chutney.
