Here’s
how to make it with step by step photos…
Ingredients
Ripe Mangoes
|

|
Sugar
|
1 cup
|
Water
|
¼ cup
|
Lemon juice
|
1 ½ tsp
|
Cloves (optional)

|
Method
Wash
and cut the mangoes, now remove only the flesh part and blend it in the mixer.
In a
heavy bottomed vessel add the mango puree, sugar, water and let it cook for 20
to 25 min. It will start to form bubbles and thicken slowly. When it comes to
the jam consistency, add the lemon juice, cloves and give a good stir and
switch off the stove.
Let it
cool down, sterilize a bottle and store the jam in it air tight. Each time use
only a fresh spoon, so that the jam won’t get spoiled.
Adding
cloves is totally optional, you can avoid it if you don’t want it.
Three
mangoes yield about 10 to 12 oz of jam.
