Here’s
how to make mashed potato with step by step photos…
Ingredients
Potatoes
|
2 pounds
|
Butter
|
¼ cup
|
Cream Cheese, softened
|
4 oz
|
Milk
|
½ cup
|
Black Pepper
|
1 tsp
|
Salt
|
As needed
|
Method
Wash,
peel and cut the potatoes into pieces. Pressure cook for two to three whistles or
cook them in a large pot of water for about 40 minutes or until they are soft. [The fork should easily
slide into the potatoes]
Drain
the water and mash the potatoes with the masher really good.
Add the
butter and give a good stir, add the cream cheese, milk and mash, mash and mash
until soft and creamy. I used the regular milk, you can use half and half as
well.
Add the
required amount of salt, black pepper and stir really well.
Preheat
the oven to 180 ˚C.
Now
transfer it to the buttered baking dish and bake it in the oven for about 20 to
30 min.
Scoop
it out and enjoy the creamy and delicious mashed potatoes.
