Simple Vegetable Pizza And Cheese pizza from the scratch…

I am happy to say that I am part of Home Bakers Challenge started by some of the fellow blogger and initiated by Priya's Versatile . The objective of this challenge is  to learn and bake together.A special thanks to Divya for choosing Pizza for this month’s baking challenge.

Here’s how to make Simple Vegetable Pizza &  Cheese Pizza from  the scratch with step by step photos…

Ingredients

For the Pizza Base
All purpose flour/Maida
3 ¼ cup + ¼ cup for dusting
Instant dry yeast
2 tsp
Warm water
1 cup
Sugar
1 ½  tsp
Salt
As needed
Olive oil
2 tbsp

For the Pizza topping
Pizza Sauce
5 to 6 tbsp
Onion
½ thinly sliced
Capsicum
½ thinly sliced
Black olives
5 to 6
Grated Cheddar or Mozrella
½ cup or as needed to cover the pizza base
Olive oil
For brushing the base
Mixed herbs and Red chilli flakes

Makes two round pizzas 12 to 14 inches diameter.

Mix the dry yeast with the warm water along with sugar and keep it aside for 5 min. It will form foam as shown in the photo.


Take the flour in a bowl; add the required amount of salt. Slowly add the yeast water, oil and make the dough. Knead the dough until smooth and make a ball. Place the dough ball in a well oiled bowl and cover it with damp tea towel or plastic wrap. Keep it aside for 1 hour in a warm place. The dough will double its size.


Punch down the dough add 1 tbsp of oil, divide it to two halves and again knead it for few more minutes, cover and keep it aside for 1 hour.


Preheat the oven to 220˚C

Grease the baking tray with oil or spread aluminium foil in the tray, roll the dough balls  with rolling pin or spread it by pressing with hand to fit in to the baking tray. 


Prick it with fork, this will help the dough to rise evenly, brush the pizza base with olive oil.

Arranging the Pizza with toppings and Baking.

For Vegetable Pizza...

Spread the Pizza Sauce on the top of the base with a spoon.

Sprinkle generous amount of cheese over the Pizza Sauce.

Arrange onions, capsicums, olives over the cheese.

Sprinkle oregano and red chilli flakes (optional).


Now the pizza is ready to be baked.

Bake the pizza  in a preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese melts.

Yummy delicious Vegetable pizza is ready, cut in to wedges and serve it hot.




For Cheese Pizza…


Spread the Pizza Sauce on the top of the base with a spoon.

Sprinkle generous amount of cheese over the Pizza Sauce.


Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese melts.

Yummy delicious cheese pizza  is ready, cut in to wedges and serve it hot.
