Method
Wash and peel the apples (I used Gala) remove the core, grate them with the grater.

In a non stick pan/kadai heat 1 tbsp of ghee, add the grated apple and stir on high flame until there is no moisture.

Add the sugar, cardamom powder/elachi powder and mix well until the sugar is blended well.

Now add the milk, food color and cook for about 15 – 20 min in medium flame, keep stirring. Cook until all the milk evaporates and the apples come to halwa consistency.

In a small pan heat ½ tbsp of ghee, fry the cashew nuts and raisins, add them to the apple halwa.

Delicious Apple Halwa is ready, so why do you have to wait go on and enjoy….

Suggestions:
Apple halwa can be made very quickly and easily it takes just 20 - 25 mins.
I have grated the apples, you can run the apples in blender to coarse consistency and make the halwa.
If the apples are really sweet, reduce the amount of sugar.
