This is a very quick and easy chicken tawa/pan fry that can be made in 2 simple steps. Chicken tawa fry serves as very good appetizer, kid friendly and lovely side dish for any meal. Here’s how to Chicken Tawa/Pan Fry with step by step photos…
Ingredients
Chicken [Boneless]
500 gm
Salt
As needed
Oil
As needed

For Grinding
Cinnamon sticks
2 (1 inch pieces)
Cloves
2
Black pepper corns
2 tsp
Channa dal/Bengal gram dal
2 tsp
Grated coconut
5 tbsp
Red chilli powder
1 ½ tsp
Coriander powder
2 tsp
Turmeric powder
½ tsp
Ginger & Garlic paste
1 tbsp
Coriander leaves
¼ bunch
Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 20 min [To fry the whole batch]

Method
Clean the chicken really good. Cut it in to long strips as shown in the photo. Wash really good and drain all the water.


Grind all the ingredients mentioned in the table above in to a fine paste. Frist grind the cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, Bengal gram dal, coconut for 2-3 min. Then add rest of  all the ingredients, little water and grind it to fine paste.


Add the ground paste, salt to the chicken strips and mix it well. Now refrigerate it for at least 2 to 3 hours.

Heat about 2 to 3 tsp of oil in the tawa or pan and place the chicken pieces and fry them on both sides until they turn brown and well done.


Super delicious chicken tawa/pan fry is ready.

Cook rest of the chicken in batches and serve them hot with a wedge of lemon.


Suggestions:
Be careful when grinding do not add more water, then the masala won’t stick with the chicken.
Fry the chicken only in small batches may about 6 – 7 pieces in the tawa/pan, do not overcrowd it.
