Dates & Banana Smoothie

Are you looking for a healthy and a filling breakfast? Then here it is Dates & Banana Smoothie. Just blend it in the mixer and your on-the-go breakfast is ready. Dates are good source of vitamins, minerals, fiber, sugar and energy. These essential minerals and vitamins help in strengthening the bones, curing anaemic conditions, intestinal disorders, boosts the nervous health etc. Dates along with bananas and milk make this Smoothie a super-rich and healthy breakfast.

Here’s how to make Dates & Banana Smoothie with step by step photos…


Ingredients

Dates [Peyricham pazham]
8- 9 pitted and finely chopped
Milk
2 cups
Yogurt
½ cup
Banana
1
Vanilla extract
¼ tsp [optional]
Nutmeg
One pinch
Ice cubes
6-8

Method

Chop the dates to small pieces. 


Add the dates, ½ cup of milk, yogurt, vanilla extract, nutmeg to the mixer and blend them to fine paste.

Then add the banana, rest of the milk, ice cubes and blend it well in the mixer until thick and smooth.

Super healthy and delicious Dates & Banana Smoothie is ready to be enjoyed. Pour it in a tall glass and enjoy your breakfast.
