Vanilla Mug Cake Recipe [Eggless] in Microwave /Vanilla MugCake Recipe with step by step photos

Now that term holidays have started for my girls, I am really busy running around with them. Today I just made a simple Vanilla mug cake in microwave which can be made in a jiffy. It is delectable and easy to make, the best part is the individual portions.

Here’s how to make Vanilla Mug Cake with step by step photos…

Ingredients
All PurposeFlour
4 tbsp
Powdered Sugar
2 tbsp
Baking powder
¼ tsp
Salt
1/8 tsp
Milk
4 tbsp
Vanilla extract
¼ tsp
Oil
1 tbsp
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 1/2 minutes
Author: Priya Anandakumar

Method
Add all the dry ingredients all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, salt to the mug and mix really well. You can use the regular 8 oz or 12 oz mug.

Now add the milk, vanilla extract, oil and mix well. Make sure there are no lumps.

Microwave for 1 ½ minutes (700 watts).

The cake will rise to the top of the mug and then come down.

Allow it to cool for few minutes and enjoy the delicious Vanilla Mug Cake.

  9. Very simple and easy to make cake, replicated by so many and shared by all too. Nevertheless I adore the scent of vanilla compared to those with coffee and chocolated.

    1. Hi Anika, You can very well use brown sugar, your cake will be more moist and softer, it is better to powder it and use it. Thanks a lot for stopping by and asking. do try it out and enjoy your mug cake...

  19. Hi Priya = Thanks so much for this easy recipe especially since I am a pure vegetarian! I was craving for a quick mug cake recipe and after doing a google search, I came across this one. The only amendments I made were that I didn't add the vanilla extract and I added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon powder as I am a big fan. Thanks again for this recipe!
