Hello
Friends,
Today I
am going to share a very delectable and mouth-watering Paal kova, furthermore can
be made in 10 minutes in a microwave. This paalkova recipe really proves anyone
and everyone can cook a wonderful dessert in no time. And also friends I am
going on vacation to India for about 4 weeks and will be back with great
recipes. I will surely be missing my co-bloggers, readers, friends, subscribers
and every one of you a lot. So I am wishing each and every one of you a very
Happy Christmas and a very Happy New Year in advance with this
sweet Paalkova. Please keep visiting and enjoy your holidays as well.
Here’s
how to make Paalkova with step by step photos…
Ingredients
Condensed Milk
|
1 tin [400 gms]
|
Yogurt/Curd
|
3 tbsp
|
Ghee
|
2 tsp
|
Cardamom powder/Elachi powder
|
2 big pinches
|
Nuts [of your choice]
|
For garnishing
|
Preparation
time: 1 minute
Cooking
time: 9 minutes
Serves : 4 to 5
Method
Pour
the condensed milk to a microwave safe bowl. Keep it in the microwave for 2
minutes.
Now add
the yogurt/curd and mix well.
Keep it in the microwave for another 2 minutes. Now it will look a little curdled.
Put it
back in the microwave for another 2 minutes, then remove it and stir. The
mixture will look more curdled and you will see some water.
Add the
ghee and cardamom powder and keep it in the microwave for another 3 minutes,
stirring at one minute interval.
If you
find some more water left, keep it in the microwave for another minute. I had little water left in the paalkova so I filtered it.
Finally
garnish it with the finely chopped nuts of your choice [pistas or almonds].
Delicious
Paalkova is ready to be enjoyed.
I will very soon post the traditional and authentic paalkova of TamilNadu very soon.
