Method
Wash,
peel and grate the carrots.
In a
wide bowl, add wheat flour, grated carrots, red chilli powder, turmeric powder,
garam masala powder, cumin seeds, yogurt, cilantro, oil and salt.
Now mix
everything really well.
Slowly
add water little by little and make soft pliable dough.
Divide
the dough into equal parts and roll them with rolling pin. Dust some extra
wheat flour while rolling.
Heat
the tawa and cook the rolled chapathi first one side and after a few seconds
flip them to cook the other side as well. Drizzle little oil along the sides of the chapathi and cook them evenly.
Delicious,
healthy, flavourful and colourful chapathi is ready to be enjoyed.
This
chapathi is good all by itself without any sidedish, but can be served hot with
yogurt or any sabji of your choice. I served them hot with mixed vegetablekurma.
