Mango Juice/Maampazham Juice

Earlier I posted mango ice cream this week, here is another one in the mango recipe series.  I have few more mango recipes that I made with home grown mangoes. I will be posting them in the coming weeks. For now, are you ready to try home-made luscious mango juice? I can already see the hands rising up. I personally never ever drink any soft drink, but I love maaza/slize /frooti. But when you can make mango juice in just 10 minutes with just 2 ingredients, then why do you have buy the juice packs from the shop? Try out this exotic, incredibly tempting and addictive mango juice. Do not forget to check out other MANGO RECIPES here.

Here’s how to make Mango juice with step by step photos…

Ingredients

Ripe Mangoes
2
Sugar/Honey
2 tbsp /as needed
Cold water
4 glasses
Ice cubes
As needed
Total time: 10 minutes
Serves: 5-6

Method

Wash the mangoes and get the flesh part out [Just scoop it out with a spoon].

Add the scooped out mango and sugar to the mixer and grind it really well.

Add 2 cups of water and run the mixer again. Transfer it to a big bowl. Add 2 more cups of water and mix thoroughly.

Yummy and refreshing mango is ready, add some ice cubes and serve it cold.

Suggestions:
I have mentioned 2 tbsp of sugar, it totally depends on the sweetness of the mango. Adjust the amount of sugar as needed.
Addition of ice cubes is also optional.
