Method
Preheat the oven to 180 C/350 F. Line the cake tin with parchment paper and keep it ready.

Sift all purpose flour/maida, baking powder and salt together. Keep it aside.

Separate the egg white and yolk, keep in separate bowls.  Discard the skin of the cardamoms and grind it with sugar to fine powder.

Cream together butter, ground sugar using an electric mixer or with a whisk until light and fluffy.

Add one egg yolk at a time and blend really well with the mixer.

Now add the vanilla extract and whisk until well combined.

Add the dry ingredients [flour+baking powder+salt] and milk alternately to the butter sugar mixture and whisk thoroughly until well combined.

In another wide bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy.

Add the egg whites to the cake batter and gently fold with a wide spoon.

Pour the cake batter to the cake tin and bake it in the oven for about 35-40 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Remove the cake from oven and cool on a cooling rack for about 15 minutes.

Yes, delicious, flavourful, soft and tempting Cardamom Tea Cake is ready to be enjoyed. Have a great day and enjoy the cake.
