Onion Raita/Vengaya Pachadi

A very simple and healthy onion raita is today’s recipe. This is a perfect accompaniment for biryanis, pulavs and ricevarieties. Check out other raita and pachadi varieties here.

Here’s how to make Onion Raita with step by step photos…


Ingredients

Onion
1 big thinly sliced
Fresh Curd/Dahi/Yogurt
1 ½ cup
Green Chillies
2-3 finely chopped
Coriander Leaves
1 tsp finely chopped
Salt
As needed
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Method

Wash the onions, peel off the skin. Slice or cut the onions to cubes.

In a bowl add yogurt, salt and whisk really well.


Now add onions, green chillies, coriander leaves to the yogurt and mix really well.
Simple and quick onion raita is ready to enjoyed.


Serve is healthy and cooling Onion Raita with vegetable rice, pulav, biryanis etc.
