Method
Now let’s make the custard.

Combine custard powder and ¼ cup of milk in a bowl; make sure there are no lumps.

Boil the rest of the milk in another sauce pan, add sugar to it and mix it really well.

Now add the custard mixture, slowly to the milk, keep stirring on medium low heat.

Stir constantly until custard comes to boil and thickens. Simmer, stirring for about a minute and switch off the stove.

Preparation of Cream

Wash the mango and get the flesh part out. Blend the mangoes with 2 tsp of sugar in a mixer and keep it aside.

Pour the fresh cream to a deep bowl. I used the full fat cream so that the ice cream will have creamy texture.

Beat it well with a hand blender for about 2-3 minutes or until it becomes creamy.

Now add the mango puree, vanilla essence, fold and mix well. Check the sugar at this point and add more if needed. My mangoes were really sweet so I did not add sugar.

Now dip the marie biscuits in milk very lightly and arrange them in square bowl.

Pour a layer of prepared custard over the arranged biscuits using a ladle. Spread it over all the biscuits to make an even layer.

Now spread a layer of prepared mango fresh cream over the custard layer and spread it evenly.

Arrange another layer of biscuits [dipped in milk]. Pour the rest of prepared vanilla custard over the biscuits and spread it evenly. Then pour rest of fresh cream and spread it evenly.

Finally sprinkle crushed chocolate or chopped nuts all over the top.

Cover it with cling film and keep it in the refrigerator to set completely.

After it is set completely, cut the pudding into pieces and serve immediately.
