Oil/Gingelly

Drumstick Leaves/Murungai keerai
Now add chopped onions and sauté until
translucent.
Add ginger & garlic paste and sauté until
raw smell vanishes. Now add the chopped tomatoes, green chillies and
sauté until they turn mushy.
Add the washed drumstick leaves and sauté well.
The leaves will start to shrink.
Add about 2 ½ cups of water, turmeric powder, salt and let it
cook for 5-7 minutes.
Suggestions:
You can serve this soup as such or you can take
about 3-4 tbsp of cooked murugai keerai, grind it and add it back to the soup,
mix thoroughly and then serve it.
