Today, I am going to share a very healthy and flavorful Peanut Chaat Salad. It’s a wonderful, filling and refreshing salad that can be made in less than 15 minutes. Here’s how to make Peanut Chaat Salad with step by step photos…



Ingredients

Raw Peanuts
1 cup
Onion
1 finely chopped
Tomatoes
2 finely chopped
Green Chillies
1 finely chopped
Cucumber
1 finely chopped
Salt
As needed
Lemon Juice
1 tsp
Coriander Leaves/Cilantro
2 tbsp finely chopped

Spice Powder Needed

Cumin Powder
½ tsp [dry roast cumin seeds and powder it finely]
Red Chilli Powder
½ tsp
ChaatMasala
¾ tsp
Amchoor Powder
½ tsp
Black Pepper Powder
1/8 tsp
Turmeric Powder
One big pinch

Preparation Time: 5-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 7-10 minutes
Total time: Less than 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Method

Raw Peanuts



Add the raw peanuts to the pressure cooker add enough water, salt and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles. You can cook them in an open sauce pan but will take longer to cook for about 20-25 minutes.


After the steam releases, drain the water and let it cool to room temperature.


When the peanuts are cooking chops the onions, tomatoes, cucumber, green chilies, coriander leaves and keep it aside.



Now add the spice powders  cumin powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, black pepper powder, amchoor powder, turmeric powder, little salt to the peanuts and mix thoroughly.


Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, cucumber, coriander leaves  and lemon juice.


Mix everything really well, and adjust the spice level according to your family needs.
