Here’s how to make Besan Bread Toast with step by step photos…

Ingredients

Bread Slices

8-9

Besan Flour/Kadalai Maavu

1 cup

Red Chilli Powder

½ tsp

Coriander Powder

½ tsp

Cumin Powder

¼ tsp

Garam Masala Powder

¼ tsp

Turmeric Powder

¼ tsp

Asafoetida/Hing

One big pinch

Salt

As needed

Onion

1 finely chopped

Tomato

1 finely chopped

Green Chillies

1 finely chopped

Cilantro/Coriander Leaves

2 tbsp

Water

As needed

Oil

To make the sandwiches

Here's a short video on how to make Besan Bread Toast 

Method

Take a wide bowl, add besan flour/kadalai maavy, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and salt.

Mix everything really well.

Add finely chopped onions, tomato and green chillies.

Add water little by little and mix everything to make a batter.

Add the finely chopped cilantro/coriander leaves and mix everything really well.

Adjust the amount of water, it should not be very thick or too thin.

Heat tawa to make the toast. Dip the bread slices in the batter, make sure it is coated well with batter on both sides.

Transfer it to the tawa, drizzle oil all over the bread and let it cook.

Flip the bread slices and cook evenly on both sides until well done.

Delicious and tempting Besan Bread Toast is ready to be enjoyed.
