Today, I am going to share very simple and basic Green Chutney/Mint & Coriander chutney for sandwiches and Kathi rolls. This basic green chutney can be made very quickly and easily in no time and can be used as spread for sandwiches. Ingredients
Mint/Pudina |
One handful |
Cilantro |
One handful |
Green Chilli |
1 chopped |
Garlic Cloves |
2 |
Ginger |
One small piece |
Cumin Powder/Jeeragam Powder |
½ tsp |
Amchoor Powder/Dry Mango Powder |
¼ tsp |
Yogurt/Thayir |
2 tbsp |
Water |
1-2 tsp or a little more |
Salt |
As needed |

Method
Clean
and wash the mint and cilantro thoroughly 2-3 times and keep it ready. Chop the
ginger, green chillies and keep rest of the ingredients ready.
Add the
mint leaves, cilantro, green chillies, 2 garlic cloves, 1 inch ginger chopped,
1 green chilli chopped, ½ tsp cumin powder and ¼ tsp amchur powder/mango
powder.
Grind to fine paste with 1-2 tsp of water. Add 2 tbsp of curd/yogurt, little salt and grind to fine paste and transfer it to a bowl.
Green
Chutney/Mint Coriander chutney is ready to make sandwiches, kathi rolls etc.
