Green Chutney Recipe for Sandwiches/Mint & Coriander Chutney Recipe for Sandwiches

Today, I am going to share very simple and basic Green Chutney/Mint & Coriander chutney for sandwiches and Kathi rolls. This basic green chutney can be made very quickly and easily in no time and can be used as spread for sandwiches. Here’s how to make Green Chutney with step by step photos…

Ingredients

Mint/Pudina

One handful

Cilantro

One handful

Green Chilli

1 chopped

Garlic Cloves

2

Ginger

One small piece

Cumin Powder/Jeeragam Powder

½ tsp

Amchoor Powder/Dry Mango Powder

¼ tsp

Yogurt/Thayir

2 tbsp

Water

1-2 tsp or a little more

Salt

As needed

Method

Clean and wash the mint and cilantro thoroughly 2-3 times and keep it ready. Chop the ginger, green chillies and keep rest of the ingredients ready.

Add the mint leaves, cilantro, green chillies, 2 garlic cloves, 1 inch ginger chopped, 1 green chilli chopped, ½ tsp cumin powder and ¼ tsp amchur powder/mango powder.

Grind to fine paste with 1-2 tsp of water. Add 2 tbsp of curd/yogurt, little salt and grind to fine paste and transfer it to a bowl.

Green Chutney/Mint Coriander chutney is ready to make sandwiches, kathi rolls etc.
