Chilli Garlic Noodles Recipe/சில்லி கார்லிக் நூடுல்ஸ்/Veg Hakka Noodle Recipe/Chillie Garlic Noodles-Video Recipe in English & Tamil

 Chilli Garlic Noodles is a very famous Chinese recipe that we come across in all most all the restaurant menu. This noodles is made with lots of garlic and spiced up with dry red chillies, green chillies along with perfect blend of sauces and loaded with vegetables as well. The chilli garlic noodles is supposed to be the spicy noodles, but you can adjust the spice level according to the needs of your family. Here’s how to make Chilli Garlic Noodles with step by step photos…

Ingredients

Hakka Noodles

400 gms

Soya Souce

2 tbsp

Gingelly Oil/Sesame Oil/Nallaennai

4 tbsp

Garlic

12-15 cloves finely chopped

Dry Red Chillies

6-7

Green Chillies

4-5 slit & Cut

Onion

1 thinly sliced

Green Beans

8-9 thinly cut to long pieces

Carrots

2  thinly cut to long pieces

Cabbage

1 big cup thinly cut

Capsicum/Bell Pepper

 1 thinly cut

Black Pepper Powder

1/2 tsp

Red Chilli Sauce

1 tbsp

Vinegar

1 tbsp

Salt

As needed

Oil

2-3 tsp for cooking the noodles

Method

Boil about 7-8 cups of water or enough water for the noodles to cook in a  sauce pan . Add 2 tsp of salt and 2 tsp of oil to it.

Let it come to rolling boil. At this stage add the noodles to it and give a good stir.

Cook for about 6-7 minutes or according to the package instructions. When almost done [about 90%] cooked switch off the stove.

Drain the water using a colander. Rinse the noodles in cold running water.This will remove the excess starch in the noodles and prevent it from further cooking. 

Add 1 tsp of oil to the noodles and toss well.

Transfer it to another bowl. Add 2 tbsp of soya sauce to the noodles and toss really well, until well coated and keep it aside.

Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a kadai/pan, add the finely chopped garlic. Saute the garlic until they turn to light brown color.

Now add dry red chillies, green chillies and saute for about 10-15 seconds.


Add the sliced onions, little salt and saute until they turn translucent.


At this stage add the green beans, carrots,salt and saute really well for about a minute.


Now add the sliced capsicum/bell pepper, cabbage and mix everything really well.


Add about ½ to 1 tsp of black pepper and saute really well for about 2 minutes. The vegetables must be cooked but should be crunchy.


Add this stage add 2 tbsp of red chilli sauce, 2 tbsp of vinegar and mix everything really well. [If you have green chilli sauce you can add 2 tsp of it as well].


Add the cooked Noodles to it and mix everything really well until everything is well combined.

Give a good toss and switch off the stove. Finally you can sprinkle some spring onions and enjoy.

Super delicious and tempting Chilli Garlic Noodles is ready to be enjoyed.
