Here’s how to make Fish Fry with step by step photos…

Ingredients

Fish/Pomfret or any Fish

700 gms

Red chilli Powder

2 tsp

Coriander Powder

1 tsp

Turmeric Powder

½ tsp

Ginger & Garlic Paste

2 tsp

Lemon Juice

From ½ lemon

Salt

As needed

Gingelly Oil

For frying the fish

Method

Wash the fish/pomfret/vaval thoroughly with water 2-3 times and drain the water. Add sea salt to the fish and wash thoroughly one last time and drain the water.

Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger & garlic paste, salt, lemon juice to a plate.

Add water little by little and make a paste.

Apply the masala paste on the fish pieces on all the sides. Rest the fish marinated for about 30-45 minutes.


Heat 2-3 tsp of gingelly oil in a tawa/griddle, add the fish pieces and cook evenly on both sides.


When done remove from pan and cook rest of the fish pieces.

Delicious and tempting Fish Fry is ready to be enjoyed.
