Black Pepper Powder |

Fusili Pasta [Any pasta of your choice] |
220 gms |

Method
To
Make Pasta Sauce
Wash
the tomatoes thoroughly with water and make small slits as shown in the photo.
Add the tomatoes to a sauce pan, add enough water until the tomatoes are submerged.
Let it
boil really well for about 5-6 minutes.
Scoop
out the tomatoes and let it cool down. You can use this water[little] when grinding the tomatoes.
Peel
the skin of the tomatoes and add it to mixer jar.
Grind
it to a puree and keep it ready.
Heat about 1 tbsp of oil in a sauce pan, add the chopped garlic , onions and saute well until they turn translucent.
At this
stage add the ground tomato puree along with little water in which the tomatoes
were cooked.
Now add
red chilli flakes, required salt and mix thoroughly.
Let it
boil really well for about 4-5 minutes.
Add the
Italian mixed herbs, black pepper powder and mix thoroughly.
Let it
boil for about a minute and then switch off the stove.
Flavourful and tempting Red Sauce for Pasta is ready. Keep it aside.
Cooking
the Pasta
Heat
about 4-5 cups of water in a sauce pan. Add 1 tsp of oil, required salt to the
water.
Let the water come to rolling boil. At this stage add the Fusili Pasta[any pasta of your choice] to the water and stir really well.
Let the pasta cook for about 15 -20 minutes or cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
When the pasta is done, switch off the stove and drain the water. Rinse the pasta in cold running water. This will remove the excess starch and prevent it from further cooking.
Add 1
tsp of oil to the pasta and toss it well. Cooked pasta is ready.
Making
Red Sauce Pasta
Now add
the cooked pasta to the prepared pasta sauce.
Mix
everything really well until well combined. Keep it on very low flame for about
a minute and switch off the stove.
Super tempting and delicious Red Sauce Pasta is ready to be enjoyed. Serve it hot with grated cheese and mixed Italian herbs.
