Red Chilli Powder |

Turmeric Powder |

Garam Masala Powder |

Curry Leaves |
8-10 finely chopped |
Cilantro/Coriander Leaves |
1-2 tbsp finely chopped |
Salt |

Method
Wahs
the potatoes thoroughly in water 2-3 times and drain the water. Add the
potatoes to the pressure cooker, add enough water and pressure cook for 2-3
whistles.
After steam releases open the lid and peel the potatoes. Mash the boiled potatoes thoroughly with masher.
Now add
chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder,
cumin powder, curry leaves, salt and cilantro to the mashed potatoes.
Mix everything really well, until well combined.
Cut the
bread pieces and add it to the potato mixture.
Again
mix everything really well, the bread will help in absorbing any excess
moisture in the mixture.
Make
small balls using the potato mixture.
Flatten
the balls little like a pattie and keep it ready.
Heat a
tawa and add the prepared patties , drizzle oil on the sides and cook them on
medium flame evenly on both the sides.
Delicious
and healthy Potato Patties is ready to be enjoyed. You can have this potato
pattie as such or it can be kept in between toasted bread, spread with butter
and chutney as sandwich.
