Ingredients
Ragi Flour/Kezhvaragau Maavu |
1 cup |
Bananas [fully ripe] |
2 |
Milk [optional] |
1 cup |
Natttu Sarkarai/Cane Jaggery Powder |
2-3 tsp |
¼ tsp |
|
Grated Coconut |
2 tbsp |
Water |
As needed |
Salt |
One small pinch |
Oil |
To make pancakes |

Method
Peel
the bananas, chop them and add it to a mixer jar.
Grind
it paste and keep it ready.
Take a
wide bowl and add ragi flour to it.
Now add
ground banana paste, nattu sarkarai, cardamom powder, salt, grated coconut and
give a mix.
Add 1 cup of milk and mix really well. If you are not using milk, then just replace it with water.
Then
add required amount of water make the batter [not too thin, not too thick].
Heat a
dosa tawa, pour two ladles of batter and spread very little to form a circle.
It should be thick like pancakes.
Cook on
the other side as well for about a minute and remove. Similarly cook rest of
pancakes.
Delicious,
healthy and super nutritious Ragi Pancake is ready to be enjoyed.

Suggestions:
Can be served with honey or chocolate syrup
If you want it fluffy, you can add 1/2 tsp of baking soda. I have avoided it to make this pancake healthy.
I have ground the bananas in mixer, you can very well mash it with masher or just use your hand.
Adding milk is optional, you can just replace milk with water.
You can also add some chopped cashew nuts to the batter and then make the pancakes.
