Chocolate Paniyaram/Chocolate Paniyaram - Kids Delight

Chocolate Paniyaram, is one of the easiest and quickest evening snack that can be made in no time. Not just kids, everyone will fall in love with this delicacy once they taste it. Here's how to make Chocolate Paniyaram with step by step photos...

Ingredients

All Purpose Flour[APF]/Maida

1 cup

Powdered Sugar

6 tbsp

Baking Powder

½ tsp

Baking Soda

¼ tsp

Salt

1/8 tsp

Cocoa Powder

3 tbsp

Milk

1 cup

Egg [boiled & cooled]

1

Vanilla Essence

¼ tsp

Melted Butter/Oil

¼ cup

Method

Break open an egg in to a bowl and beat really well.

Add 1 cup of milk and ¼ cup of melted butter or Oil , vanilla essence and beat really well until thoroughly mixed.


In another bowl sift together 1 cup of APF/Maida, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt.

Now mix all the dry ingredients together really well.

Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture.

Mix everything really well to make a batter of pouring consistency. The batter should not be too thick or too thin.

Heat paniyaram pan  with few drops of oil in all the holes.

Pour the chocolate batter into the holes, make sure you fill only ¾ rth of the paniyaram hole.

Let it cook, when it starts to leave the sides, flip the paniyaram and cook on the other side as well. Drizzle oil on the sides if needed.

When both sides are cooked evenly, remove them from the pan and transfer them to a plate. Similarly make rest of the paniyarams in batches.

Yes, delicious, fluffy, soft and tempting Chocolate Paniyaram is ready to be enjoyed. Serve them hot with a dash of honey or Strawberry Syrup.
