Ingredients
Basmati Rice/Rice |
2 cups |
Garlic |
2 bulbs peeled & chopped |
Eggs |
6 |
Green Chillies |
4 finely chopped |
Spring Onions |
One bunch finely chopped |
Soya Sauce |
2 - 3 tsp |
Black Pepper Powder |
2 tsp |
Oil |
2 tbsp |
Salt |
As needed |

Method
Wash
the basmati rice throroughly with water for 2-3 times and drain the water.
Add fresh water and soak for 30 minutes.
Drain the water from basmathi rice, add it to the pressure cooker along with required salt.Add 3 cups of water and pressure cook for 1 whistle and switch off the stove.
Wait for the pressure to release for all by itself, then open the lid. Cooked basmathi rice is ready.
Take a
bowl, brake the six eggs into it.
Add
required salt and 1 tsp of black pepper powder to it.
Beat
everything really well until thoroughly combined. Beaten eggs are ready, keep
it aside.
Heat 2
tbsp of oil in a kadai, add chopped garlic and green chillies.
Now
saute well on low flame for about 2 minutes.
At this
stage add chopped spring onions [white part] and saute for about 30-40 seconds.
Now add
the beaten eggs to the kadai, stir well and cook the eggs until well done.
Keep stirring continuously, it will look like egg burji.
Sprinkle
1 tsp of black pepper powder and 2 tsp of black soya sauce . Adjust the salt level at this stage. Give a gentle stir.
Add the remaining finely chopped spring onions to it.
Mix everything
really well on low flame for about minute or two and then switch off the stove.
Delicious,
flavourful and healthy Garlic Egg Fried Rice is ready to be enjoyed.
