Potato Fry/Varuval
I will
be more than happy, if I have just yogurt rice and potato fry. It is a very
comforting food and any one new to cooking also can make it. There are
different versions of potato fry, but this is my family's all time favorite. My
kids just love them. You can just layer it between bread slices, place it in the sandwich maker and have it hot. It will be heavenly...
Bisibelabath/Sambar Sadham
Bisibelabath
is a one pot meal in which lentils and vegetables are cooked together and
served hot. Bisibelabath/ sambar sadham is originally from Karnataka. Jaggery is
usually added to it, but I have not added it. Bisibelabath mix is available in shops, but you can make it at home and store it for later. It is
one nutritious meal which is simple and easy to make. Please check out other rice varieties here.
