Ashoka
Halwa is a traditional and a very famous sweet in Thanjavur District, Tamil
Nadu usually served as a dessert. The name is very fascinating and interesting, but I don't know why or how it got it's name. It is made in special occasions like
weddings, baby shower etc and also during festival seasons. This halwa is
